Belvoir Retail Village的点评
点评：We attended the Santa’s grotto and were incredibly disappointed considering we paid £30 . The pricing is crazy for what you experience. The website needs to make it clearer what you actually receive, as “grotto” was pushing the bounds of imagination.
We have previously attended events at belvoir and have been similarly disappointed, but thought we’d try again - needless to say we will NOT be back.
We booked a timed slot but had to wait for 25 minutes in the freezing cold under a black gazebo with other families who had also booked for the same time. The entrance was in no way decorated and we were stood in a pile of mouldy, muddy leaves. It just felt like a cash grab. Nothing at all to entertain the kids whilst we waited.
To make matters worse, there were empty cardboard boxes slung out by the door with details of the contents clearly printed on the outside. Our 9 year old, who was on the fence about Santa, read the boxes whilst we waited and knew what gift he would then receive. This has totally ruined his experience of Santa and he now fully does not believe. The lack of care taken in this respect is unacceptable. I have attached photos of the boxes and waiting area mess.
The grotto being in a single room at the back of the bauble shop simply does not work as you can hear the customers talking through the curtain which totally ruins the experience. Poor Santa (who was lovely) was all alone - for the money we would have expected an elf or similar to greet the children and keep them somewhat in the Christmas spirit whilst we slowly froze waiting. Other customers in the queue were telling us about how much better it was last year and how they were shocked at the downgrade for the same money.
We left feeling like we had been cheated out of £30, which isn’t a small amount of money at this time of year. Avoid avoid avoid. We ate at the bistro afterwards and the food was mediocre (again, very expensive. £15 for 3 soft drinks!)

圣诞老人小屋设在饰品店后面的一个房间里，这根本行不通，因为你可以透过帘子听到顾客的谈话声，这完全破坏了体验。可怜的圣诞老人（他很和蔼）孤零零的——我们花了这么多钱，本以为会有个精灵之类的来迎接孩子们，让他们在等待的时候也能感受到一些圣诞气氛。排队的其他顾客告诉我们，去年的体验好得多，他们对同样的价格却体验下降感到震惊。
我们离开时感觉被骗了30英镑，这在一年中的这个时候可不是一笔小数目。千万别去！之后我们在小餐馆吃了饭，食物很一般（而且非常贵。3杯软饮就要15英镑！）
