An amazing Visitor centre with such a fantastic personal appeal!

点评：We visited Glencadam Distillery Visitor Centre for the first time today for their visitor centre open day and were genuinely impressed from start to finish. The staff were warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate, not just about the whisky, but about making sure everyone felt at home. There’s a wonderful personal touch to the place, and it’s full of character and history without feeling overly commercial.
The shop itself is beautifully laid out, with a great selection of whiskies and gifts. The café was a real highlight too. I had the Mac and Cheese loaded fries and my wife went for the Beef Chilli loaded fries, both were absolutely fantastic. The flavours were spot on, hearty and comforting without being heavy. We noticed the cakes looked incredible as well, but we’ll be saving those for next time. The coffee was excellent and came with a little piece of whisky fudge on the side, which was such a nice touch.
Overall, it’s a very inviting environment that feels genuinely cared for. We’ll definitely be returning, next time we’re absolutely trying the cakes!
