波音飞行之旅的点评
点评：Visited on 26 April 2026 - Boeing is a little way north of Seattle - public transport isn’t really an option to get here but ride shares are doable, this is a chance to get a taster of the main Boeing Assembly line and a look back at a centenary of the company, from its beginnings as a cargo and mail company right the way through to its space exploration endeavours.
There are several things to do - the gallery on the lower ground level and features a little history but the main focus is on aviation sustainability, space and future of dual passenger transport. There’s a flight sim, allowing guests to play around in a commercial aircraft or a fighter jet. And some activities for kids and school parties. The main floor features the cafe, shop and entrance to the plant tour. Up on the roof is the sky terrace which gives you a look at the plant from the outside as well as the nearby runway, heavily used by private craft.
The tour takes about ninety minutes and there’s a bus ride to get to the plant. You don’t move about a lot but there is plenty to see on the tour, aircraft in various stages of development as well as the other facilities within the hangars. The guides will answer your questions as you go but they’ve anticipated many of the main ones which is handy.
Anticipate spending about three hours here - longer if you want to use the cafe. The shop has a lot of interesting souvenirs - branded merch, clothing and model aeroplanes amongst other items.
