点评：Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our holiday in Crete. As a family of five who had never hired a boat before, we were a little nervous, but the team at Kalyves Cruises made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable from start to finish.
We hired a private boat for four hours to explore the coastline around Kalyves, and it was the best decision we made. Before setting off, we were given a thorough safety briefing and shown exactly how to operate the boat. We were also provided with a map highlighting all the must-see spots along the coastline, as well as a contact number, giving us complete peace of mind knowing help was never far away if we needed it.
The freedom of exploring at our own pace, rather than being part of a group tour, made the experience even more special. We discovered beautiful secluded bays, swam in the most crystal-clear water we’ve ever seen, and created memories we’ll never forget.
The boat itself was immaculate and had everything we needed. We brought our own snorkels, but these were also provided, which was a lovely touch.
If you’re planning to do this, we’d recommend taking towels, snacks, plenty of water and sun cream—apart from that, you just need yourselves!
We honestly had such an incredible time that we were tempted to book the sunset cruise too, as the sunsets here are absolutely stunning.
