Quiet morning nature preserve and river cruise

点评：Picked up at my hotel promptly at 8:30am and drove 15-20minutes to Mangrove Park to the south of Hua Hin seeing a little more of the Thai country living until we arrived at an 100 year old preserve favored by recent Thai king and queen. This included a leisurely stroll on a teak wood catwalk over the water through a mangrove forest. It was VERY quiet. Mangrove grow in a fresh and salt water (brackish) biome that has abundant life in the mud. Mostly tiny crabs that are eaten by birds and fish that come I. On the tides.
After the stroll we went to the bespoke Sea-cret Marina with (3) tourist cruise boats. We went in the smallest 10 passenger boat for a short one hour river cruise down to the fishing harbour and back viewing the huge fleet of mostly squid fishing boats that light up green offshore at night to attract the squid.
There was coffee and fresh danish and fresh cut watermelon and mango to munch as we cruised by the river landscape.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning arriving fresh back to my hotel in Hua Hin before noon.
I would like to come back and take the ocean cruise and enjoy a meal on board as the Thai chef described several delicious sounding dishes that are served onboard.
