点评：A real treasure. Stori Brymbo combines the preserved remains of Brymbo ironworks, complete with exhibitions on the history of the site and the steelworks next door, with the fossil forest, which is a palaeontological site of international significance. Seeing the remains of the forest which fired the furnaces of the industrial revolution, 300 million years later, right next to those same furnaces, is something of a unique experience that puts the history of our planet, and our place in it, into perspective.
Kids will be entertained by stories of giant millipedes and bum-headed shrimp, and those interested in Wrexham's industrial heritage will find no better place to see it up close.
If none of that sounds like your cup of tea, and you don't fancy paying for admission, visit anyway and enjoy the great cafe in the wonderfully restored machine shop!
The site is still being worked on, and more is being opened up all the time. If you do pay for admission, and you might like to return, be sure to convert your ticket into an annual pass - you won't be charged extra.
To the great team of staff and volunteers behind Stori Brymbo - what you've managed here in a few short years is amazing, and inspirational. We could do with a few more projects like yours in the area! Dal ati!
