点评:Went to Stori Brymbo for the first time today on its formal opening weekend (having gone to a community event the other week, that showed you a bit of it). They advertise that there is no where else where you can see the whole process of trees - Coal - Steel in the world, the Fossil Forest is wonderful and is a current dig site (the only one in Europe apparently). The staff from start to finish were lovely and helpful. History wise, I didn’t realise that the Darby Brothers that took over Brymbo were Quakers, and like Rowntree/ Cadbury took an active interest in the education and housing conditions of their workers. Presently there are a couple of buildings not open but they will be in September. We look forward to going back and seeing how it changes over the next few years.
Stopped for an iced coffee and a cake on the way in, and a Sub from the excellent local Smithy bakery on the way out. It’ll be a good local cafe too.

进门的时候,我们停下来喝了杯冰咖啡,吃了块蛋糕;离开的时候,又在当地很棒的史密斯面包店(Smithy bakery)买了个三明治。以后这里也会成为一家不错的本地咖啡馆。
