点评:Assistant manager at Banbridge Boulevard Sketchers store in Northern Ireland failed to convey store return policy to us on 23/03/24 when we bought shoes for my husband. She never told us that holding back the box meant we could not return/exchange the shoes. On return home, my husband realised he needed a smaller size so I went back at the next available opportunity (29/03/24) to exchange them for the smaller size. The assistant manager saw the shoes, and told me I could not exchange without a box, but as she had served us the previous week and did not relay this information to us, she wrote "special circumstances" on the receipt so I could return the following day (30/03/24) with my husband so we could exchange for a different pair of shoes, as they did not have a smaller size in the shoes purchased. Upon our return on 30/03/24 she refused to do the exchange and lied to the manager Eugene about seeing the shoes the previous day and lied about the "special circumstances" written on the back of the receipt. I expressed my unhappiness with being lied to, lied about, and scammed out of a substantial amount of money (sketchers are not cheap), but the manager backed up the lying employee and refused to assist. I will be escalating this to the highest point as I do not take kindly to being lied to or about, or wasting time and fuel to exchange something I was assured I could. Rest assured I will only return to this store in the future to receive an apology from the assistant manager and the manager Eugene. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The anxiety and stress the staff at this store have caused me, and the smile on the assistant managers face when she clearly thought she'd gotten away with her lies, is enough to send me over the edge so I will not be letting this go until there is a satisfactory resolution and apology from the staff in the store.
