点评：We visited Tenorio Volcano National Park to see the famous Río Celeste Waterfall, and even though we couldn’t get down to the base because the path was closed, the view from above was still absolutely stunning. The walk through the trails was amazing — lush rainforest, vibrant plants, and tons of wildlife to spot. It felt like stepping into another world.
Our only disappointment was that we weren’t informed about the waterfall path being closed before entering. The staff explained the trails and directions clearly but never mentioned the closure, so it caught us by surprise.
Aside from that, the facilities were clean and well maintained, and the park was easy to navigate. A few tips for future visitors:
• Buy your entrance tickets online in advance — they don’t sell them at the gate, and there’s a daily visitor limit.
• Arrive before 1:45 PM, since the parking area starts closing around then and the main office closes at 2 PM.
• The park closes at 4 PM, so plan enough time to explore and get back before closing.
Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience, and even with the partial closure, we’re so glad we went.
