Rockley Golf Club的点评
点评：I made a booking for 2pm on Sunday 28th December. I spent over 20 minutes on the phone and received both a text message and email confirming the reservation.
We arrived exactly at 2pm to find no one there. The place was a ghost town. The tennis courts looked like they had barely survived a natural disaster and the golf course itself was in genuinely atrocious condition.
Having driven 45 minutes to get there, we decided to try and make the best of it. We are not elite golfers and are happy to play for fun, but after 30 minutes of waiting there was still not a single member of staff in sight. After more than 20 unanswered phone calls, our frustration understandably peaked.
We then called Barbados Golf Club, just 13 minutes away, and thank goodness we did. For almost the same price we played 18 holes instead of 9, with well maintained fairways, decent rental clubs, and friendly, professional staff. The difference in quality was night and day.
Twenty four hours later I finally received an email from Rockley Golf Course. There was no real explanation and no meaningful apology, just a dismissive 20 percent discount offered on a future booking. Frankly, I would rather pay someone not to play here than ever return.
My family and I have been coming to Barbados for over 30 years. We have a home here and know the island extremely well. We love this country, but experiences like this do it a real disservice.
Under no circumstances should anyone play here. I strongly recommend choosing any other golf course on the island.

24小时后，我终于收到了罗克利高尔夫球场的邮件。邮件里没有给出任何解释，也没有真诚的道歉，只是敷衍地提出下次预订可以享受20%的折扣。坦白说，我宁愿花钱请人不要来这里打球，也绝不会再来。
我和家人来巴巴多斯已经超过30年了。我们在这里有房子，对这个岛屿非常熟悉。我们热爱这个国家，但这样的经历实在是对它的侮辱。
