点评：If you come here to snorkel or scuba, be advised that the pier area proper is not open unless a cruise ship is docked, and if one is, you cannot dive. The pier area has restrooms, and set of steps with rails that let you easily and safely enter the water for diving. However, when we visited, the gates to the pier were shut and locked, and there were signs up saying no swimming or diving. A local told us they've shut down the pier because someone had an accident. So, yes you can still swim and dive, however in order to do so you must walk down the concrete steps off the waterfront walkway, or down a set of makeshift stairs made with concrete blocks, then along the narrow "beach" to the corner closest the pier entrance, where someone laid concrete slabs into the water as makeshift steps. I strongly recommend finding this slab because otherwise you'll have to navigate rocks, coral and marine life to get in the water, which is dangerous for you and them! You will need to come prepared to dive, and will have no access to bathrooms. There are a few restaurants nearby, but nothing special. Free parking is easily available on nearby streets - just look carefully for restrictions for taxis, handicap, fire hydrants, etc.
