点评:We arrived by cruise ship, only one another there at the time. We didn’t do a tour so were only around the port area.,Perhaps we would have got a better impression if we had moved out of Frederiksted. We walked the promenade which was full of stalls selling what I can only describe as tat. A few local shops had some really nice local art but we were mainly put off by the scruffy area. We asked about getting a coffee and were redirected to a side street which was worse than the port area. The coffees took 40
Mins to arrive, no fresh milk and cost $20, what a missed opportunity for a local. Long walk back on pier to the ship but they provided a shuttle service. We queued politely , like most Brits, do, only to be shoulder charged by many Americans , some with strollers etc who filled the shuttle ahead of us and walked all over us. I have never experienced such rude Americans in my life ! What a shame because it could be a very pretty area to encourage tourists who don’t or can’t snorkel.
