点评：We started our Peru visit with archaeological civilization sites dating from 5000 years ago with evidence of inhabitants from 7000 years ago.
On the private 2-day tour. Rogelio, our driver, picked us up at our Lima hotel at 5:00 am when traffic is still light. We speak basic Spanish, but arranged for an English language interpreter ahead of time. She explained complicated concepts, so we could understand the local docents at the archeological sites.
After breakfast in Barranca, we visited Caral and Peñicoon the first day. We overnighted in downtown Barranca at the Chavín Hotel. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The next day we visited Áspero and Vichama the second. Every site held insights.
Over all, it was a an excellent two days. Both our driver and interpreter were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
