A great family adventure - The best of the alps in under 5km!
Le Plateau De La Moliere的点评
点评：A lovely Alpine experience! Featuring cows with bells! A first for us in the region (we are visiting the French alps for the first time). Beautiful forest paths. Beautiful views of the mountains and towards Grenoble. Lots of lovely wildflowers and the place was buzzing with butterflies and crickets, much to my children’s delight.
We chose to do the easier “family” walk (advertised on the Isere tourism website I believe) which was about 5km but there are many walking routes to choose from. We parked at the Moliere car park and climbed up the short but steep path from there following the sign posts straight ahead, passing many lovely vantage points, until we eventually reached a left turn down through a tight path between rocks (if you look at the other side of the ‘ Pas de l'Ours’ sign post here it will have the “Gite de La Moliere” on it and you’ll know it’s the correct place to turn off). We headed down this fairly steep path until we reached the Gite de La Moliere (didn’t visit as we had eaten our packed lunches already enroute but it looked lovely) and then continued on the straight path that leads back towards the Moliere car park (through a herd of very friendly cows and their bells).
This walk was an easy to navigate loop. You can actually see the return path down to your left when you’re above it in the forest. A little steep in places but overall we found it easy for our children (ages 4,7,9). Stony path a little loose at times too so wear good footwear. The road up to the car park isn’t very busy but it is narrow in places so take care there also.
Would very much recommend this route to tourists and families alike.
