Maracas Beach的点评
点评：Full disclosure: I am not a tourist but a Trinidadian residing here my whole life.
9 am Sunday morning. Only one eating place open. The seating area was less than spotless. Food was average, not our usual experience. The beach was untidy. The view out to the sea was obliterated by unkempt tents and piles of plastic chairs for rent. These vendors had even taken over spaces beneath shady trees that beachgoers would have loved to occupy. Far better to situate these rentals towards the entrance to the beach than right at the front.
It was a beautiful day and if we had been going for the day we would have situated at the far end of the beach nearer to the lagoon where there were far less items blocking the view of the sea. But we had just gone for breakfast and a little outing. Very disappointing to see the state of things. The best word to describe in a nutshell is untidy.
I do hope the relevant authorities take note.
