点评：We were lucky enough to book the Tall Ships Cruise on the Festiva from Atlantic Highlands on the evening of July 2nd, and it was definitely the highlight of our whole week of local festivities that celebrated the 250th anniversary of our country! Our group of 17 people all had a fabulous time. The crew were very friendly and welcoming, and they did their best to keep us hydrated by continuously passing out ice water throughout the evening as temperatures soared around 100 degrees. There was a bar on board as well, and some food was also included, although we didn’t take advantage of the hot dogs, etc. There was an excellent DJ on board that made the whole trip extra fun by playing patriotic songs from the moment we arrived on board until we exited the gangplank, and he encouraged the guests to sing along, which we did with enthusiasm. The captain got us very close to most of the Tall Ships that were anchored around Sandy Hook, and we were treated to breathtaking sunset views with a few dolphins popping up alongside our boat to make the voyage even more memorable. The highlight of the night was being able to watch the town’s fireworks show from off shore as the Tall Ship masts were themselves illuminated in the background of the bay. We simply couldn’t have enjoyed this evening any more than we did! This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from beginning to end. We’ll definitely be back!
