Still havent Gone. Bought the hunt in 2024. Every time we get a group sent to Fiona / Koos - it comes back as "booked".
We sent a list of added animals we're interested in (totaling over 100,000 USD in extras) and the response was "those are animals from multiple camps" we cant do that.
In 2024, we were told to go in 2025. in 2025 we were told they were booked, as well in 2026. now im trying to get booked in 2027... Mind you I ALREADY BOUGHT THE HUNT. Paid. Gone. Cashed Check --- but i cannot get my DATES booked.
Ive hunted with 2 other outfits in SA, and neither were as ridiculous as this. I feel like if you buy a hunt through Ducks Unlimited - Koos and his team treat you like trash - they accomodate the ones they sell for much more money at the expos and shows, and if there are leftover dates/animals maybe they'll entertain a DU group.
Unfortunately - i bought, and prepaid for 8 hunters and 8 animals (2 hunts packages) through DU. That money is GONE. Buyer beware. Dont expect a call from Fiona either --- ever.
