点评:We got a bus from our hotel down to the town below and then completed a 6.5 mile walk to Lake Kreda, only to discover that the bridge had been removed and the lake was completely inaccessible to tourists. As you can imagine, this was highly disappointing, especially as nowhere online or along the route did it state that the area was shut with no access available. We then had to walk the entire 6.5 miles back as there are no buses running along the route.
From a distance, the lake looked absolutely amazing, which made it even more frustrating not being able to reach it. Unfortunately, we’ve found this to be quite common out here. We also ventured on two other long hikes during our stay — one to a waterfall that was closed when we were already most of the way up, and another where the path had completely crumbled away, forcing us to turn back.
What’s most disappointing is the complete lack of signage, warnings, or up-to-date information. It would save visitors a lot of wasted time and effort if closures and dangerous routes were clearly communicated beforehand.
