点评:We hiked at Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands, and Little Wild Horse Canyon was my favorite memory of the trip. The canyon walls are so beautiful, and what an experience to squeeze through spaces barely wide enough for one person. It should be noted that none of us were experienced hikers, and this route only required a few places of scrambling over rocks. We walked for about an hour, until we reached a noted landmark: a waist-high rock wedged in the passage. More adventurous trekkers can climb over, but we opted to turn around as many people do. It's about a 15-minute walk though a dry gully with no shade to reach the slot canyon, do it's best to start early in the day (8 a.m.) to avoid the heat and crowds. We only had to pass 2 groups, but of course it happened at the narrowest place. It's a good way to get to know fellow travelers.
