点评：We booked an overnight stay directly with Chiang Mai Elephant Home, and it was easily the highlight of our trip. While day visits are great, the real magic happens when you stay the night and see the "after-hours" life of these beautiful animals.
The Experience
What sets this farm apart is the freedom the elephants have. With no restrictive chains or hooks, they have the space to simply be themselves. We spent the evening watching them take dust baths, swaying peacefully as they drifted off to sleep, and enjoying a final water bath. A highlight was watching Minah’s mom playfully spray the two babies with water—a memory we will treasure forever!
The "Elephant Buffet" Surprise
We purchased five baskets of food (300 THB each), and because those funds go directly back to the farm and the elephants' care, the staff turned it into a full "buffet" for them. The best part? We were invited to help with the feeding! It was an incredible, hands-on way to give back.
The Stay & Hospitality
Owners Kasim and Dah are wonderful hosts who ensure you have everything you need. The food was delicious: we ordered Pad Thai for dinner, enjoyed the included breakfast, and had a rich Massaman curry for lunch.
Good to Know:
• The Room: Rooms are equipped with fans. While my husband usually insists on AC, he was perfectly comfortable as the temperature drops nicely at night.
• The Wake-Up Call: We opted for the 2,000 THB morning wake-up call—worth every penny!
• Payment: Bring cash (Thai Baht)!
