Kangaroo Haven的点评
点评：I volunteered at Kangaroo Haven when visiting Kunnunura, and also attended a tour with Mandy - and it is a bucket list experience for any visitor to Kununurra.
Mandy makes you feel at home and welcomed, everything during the tour is authentic and genuine. There is no fluffing up of things, it is very real and honest and you walk away knowing what to do if you come across a wounded kangaroo or Wallaby.
She talks you through highlights of her 882 rescues so far and how the rescue came about.
You get to hand feed the small joeys who are inside in homemade pouches first, followed by a trip to hand feed the larger kangaroos and wallabies outside. Everyone gets a turn of this awe inspiring experience.
You also get to see Tawny Frogmouths, Wedgetail Eagles, Kookaburras, Emu, Kites, Brolga, pigs, chickens, ducks, parrots and you get to hold the snakes!!
If your lucky Indi the Macaw will say hello and have a little dance with the kids to get the tour energy going.
For $20 a head this can not be beaten for value for money and you will walk away with hundreds of photos to share with family and friends, or add to the photo book.
