点评：“Your Own Italy,” without question provided the ingredients for a truly wonderful two-week visit to Italy for my wife and me. The company knows Italy and knows how to make the country’s charms and readily accessible through meticulous planning and clear but unobtrusive communications. For logistic challenges or a desire for a special restaurant, we simply contacted the company's highly responsive, in-country manager. Equally impressive and accommodating were the company’s gracious in-country tour guides and drivers, all of whom expressed, without prompting, their warmth and respect for their employer - “Your Own Italy.”
Every aspect of the two-week Italian excursion that “Your Own Italy” planned and orchestrated was nothing short of fantastic. At each stop in our journey, the accommodations, tours, and activities arranged for us underscored the company’s implicit desire to impart its passion for all things Italian - history, art, cuisine, and culture. Our tour guides in Rome, Pompei, the Amalfi Coast, Florence, and Venice - all with deep roots and great pride in their cities - literally "entertained" us with insights into Italian institutions, economics, politics, art, and architecture. The guide for our Colosseum and Vatican tours, for example, was not satisfied with his answer to one of our questions. To our surprise, he researched the topic overnight, informing us of his findings the next day as we entered the Vatican. We could cite similar examples of courtesies from each of our stops. What was clear to us is that “Your Own Italy "operates from top to bottom to deliver an intellectual and culturally engaging Italian experience.
