点评：Four optimistic (and, in hindsight, slightly stupid) bastards made the heroic pilgrimage from the resort next door tonight to celebrate the grand reopening of this bar. Spirits were high. Expectations even higher. Legs… already questioning the decision.
After a solid walk that felt far longer than it had any right to be, we arrived with the anticipation of thirsty explorers finally reaching the oasis.
Except the oasis was… closed.
Lights off. Doors shut. Atmosphere somewhere between abandoned film set and crime scene nobody had bothered to tape off. If there was a reopening party happening, it must have been for the ghosts.
Now, to be fair, the bar itself looked promising from the outside - like the kind of place where good stories, bad decisions, and questionable karaoke could happen. But unfortunately tonight the only thing reopening was our blister count on the walk back.
Special mention to the management for the innovative concept of a “reopening night” that apparently doesn’t involve actually opening.
In summary:
Great walk. Lovely night air. Excellent cardio. No ducks. Or dogs.🍻
