点评：Coming all the way up from The Netherlands, we planned the trip to St. Kilda a year ahead. We booked for 26-27 of august: hopefully the weather would permit the trip. It did. Full sunshine, some 18 degrees and allmost no wind. At 25th We were called to confirm the trip. The trip was exactly as planned. The crew, Angus and Fred were skilled and all safety measures taken. By all, your out on the ocean... We think we had the best of weather you can have: leaving Leverburgh you could see the contour of St'Kilda in the far. But still some 50 miles to go...
It was an unforgettable day. We had more than enough time on Hirta. It is stunning, certainly as you have read the history of the place -as we did. After leaving Hirta we sailed around the stacks and since the weather was very calm, we could approach them very close. Birds, geology: Fred informed us about what to see while Angus sailed the ship.
Angus and Fred run a solid business and deliver as promised. You are in capable hands. The only enemy might be the weather but you can't blame Kilda Cruises for that.
This was a mighty once in a lifetime expirience (I think) with great thanks to Angus and Fred!
