点评：After researching many options, my partner and I decided to attend to the luau at Nutridge and I am so glad we did. As others have said, the views, the performers, the food and the entire experience is just amazing. I feel like we learned so much, and the performers (who also lead games, teach skills, and run the dining experience (phew!) were some of the most talented folks you'll ever get to meet. They were funny, charming, skilled.. and did I mention they are also running the entire thing in between costume changes and performances?? They are AMAZING, ya'll. Especially the MC we had. As a performer myself I could not stop noticing all the little things they did to make sure the guests did NOT have to notice any of it.. or worry about a thing.
They'll make mobility accommodations for anyone who needs, but they aren't kidding when they say wear comfy shoes. I wore flat sandals and a long sundress, brought a denim jacket for when the sun went down. There is some walking from place to place throughout the night, plus before dinner there are lawn games and they also let us try to learn some tricks with the poi, so you want to be able to move comfortably!
We paid extra for transport, and glad we did. One, it meant we could both drink but also the van driver was funny, informed, and started conversations going between all of us on the ride up.. which meant when we arrived and were seated together we already had built-in friends to chat with at the table!!
Didn't need any bug spray, wish I had brought cash and slipped some to the entertainers. They don't ask for tips or have a box out, but they should!
I'd totally go back, and I am recommending this to anyone else who tells me they're headed to Ohanu!
