We visited the Little Paris Museum today and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. As Romanians, we were genuinely surprised by how much history we learned here—stories and details that we never encountered during our school years.
The museum beautifully recreates the atmosphere of Bucharest during the period when it was known as "Little Paris." The exhibits are thoughtfully presented, allowing visitors to step back in time and better understand the city's culture, fashion, social life, and transformation through the years.
What impressed us most was how engaging and accessible the information was. Rather than simply displaying objects, the museum tells the story of a fascinating era in Romanian history. We left with a much deeper appreciation for Bucharest and its heritage.
The staff were welcoming, the museum was well maintained, and the entire experience felt personal and authentic.
