Main Beach的点评
点评：Merimbula Main Beach is one of those places that instantly reminds you why people fall in love with the Australian coastline. I visited during sunset, and the colours over the ocean were absolutely unforgettable — deep blue water, golden sand, and dramatic clouds reflecting shades of orange, pink, and purple across the sky. It felt peaceful and wild at the same time.
What I loved most about this beach is how spacious and natural it feels. Even though it is popular with visitors and locals, it still gives you the feeling of being surrounded by untouched coastal bushland. The long stretch of sand is perfect for walking, especially in the early morning or late afternoon when the light changes over the water.
The beach is ideal for different types of travellers. Families can enjoy safe swimming areas and nearby facilities, while surfers have plenty of space to catch waves. I also noticed people fishing, walking their dogs, and simply sitting quietly listening to the sound of the ocean. There is something very relaxing about the atmosphere here.
Another beautiful feature is the connection between the beach, the lake, and the surrounding nature reserves. The combination of ocean views, coastal vegetation, and fresh sea air creates a very authentic Australian seaside experience. If you are lucky, you may even spot dolphins or whales during migration season.
I would definitely return again. Merimbula Main Beach is not just a beach for swimming — it is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the natural beauty of the South Coast of New South Wales.
