No route is easy, or for the faint hearted! Beautiful views though

点评：We headed here after so many online recommendations intending to do the moderate 5.5k hike - boy am I glad we didn’t!
As it was such a hot day when we got to the Gap we decided to just continue on that short 2.2k route - no where does it mention that you have to scramble up rocky cliffs, deep steps carved into the rock and in one section need to haul yourself up on ropes embedded into the rocks - the drop is pretty scary and I was petrified I’d slip or just freeze. There were older people in front and behind us who got into real difficulty and others, us included, had to help them even though we weren’t very confident ourselves. We are pretty fit 50 somethings!
The views were beautiful but I do feel that people need to be warned of the challenge you will be faced with, particularly on that return section.

到达山口那天天气很热，所以我们决定只走那条2.2公里的短途路线——路线说明里完全没提到要攀爬岩石峭壁，还要走凿在岩石上的深台阶，其中一段甚至需要借助嵌入岩石的绳索才能上去——落差真的很大，我当时吓坏了，生怕自己滑倒或者冻僵。我们前后都有一些年纪较大的人遇到了真正的困难，包括我们在内的其他人不得不去帮忙，尽管我们自己也不是很有信心。我们可是五十多岁，身体还算不错的人啊！
