点评：We booked a two-and-a-half-hour scenic flight from Marree with Arid Air, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our flight was fully booked, but everything ran smoothly and we departed right on time at 7.30am.
The flight gave us an incredible bird’s-eye view of some of the most spectacular and remote landscapes in South Australia. We flew over the Marree Man, the Painted Hills, Lake Eyre South and Lake Eyre North, as well as the vast and ever-changing landscape surrounding the region. Seeing these places from the air gave us a completely different perspective and allowed us to appreciate just how immense and extraordinary the country is.
The scenery was simply breathtaking. The colours, patterns and textures of the landscape were constantly changing, and there were moments when the terrain below looked so close and clear that it felt as though we could almost reach out of the plane and touch it. We were completely engrossed throughout the entire flight and found ourselves constantly looking out the windows, not wanting to miss a moment.
Our pilot was cheerful, friendly and informative, providing interesting commentary along the way without distracting from the incredible views. The flight felt relaxed, well organised and thoroughly enjoyable.
The absolute highlight was seeing Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre with water in it. To witness such a remarkable and usually dry landscape transformed by water from the air was something very special. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it is an experience we will remember for a very long time.
Arid Air provided an outstanding experience, and we would highly recommend this flight to anyone visiting Marree or wanting to experience the extraordinary beauty of the Lake Eyre region from above. Absolutely amazing!
