Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea, California, is a 124-acre park known for its unique grove of coastal redwoods, a 4-acre lake for fishing, and extensive recreational facilities like playgrounds, tennis courts, and sports fields. I have also been wanting to stop here, but have never been in the area or had the time to do it. It was about a 25 minute walk just to get to the small grove of redwoods. Didn’t see any wildlife, but you could hear a lot of birds. Well, these red ones are not as tall as the ones I’ve seen up in northern California. It was still very nice. There were quite a few groups doing family photo shoots. I even helped a couple get a few good pictures of themselves. You can also see how much damage was done when we had all the floodings earlier this month and last month. It’s a great place for kids and also if you’re into fishing because their pond is very large. I really enjoyed my walk with nature.
