点评:This is a stunning and extremly disabled friendly garden. You cannot visit the house but the gardens are stunning. Sadly due to storm goreti the gardens lost 150 trees, and some of the gardens are fenced off, whilst repairs and maintenance is being undertaken. The price is also cheaper at present due to a goverment scheme, (see photo), this is running until the 1st of September.
The cafe seemed average priced and there is a second hand bookshop, a typical book costs £3. The outside disabled toilet was not clean and left a lot to be desired but the one in the cafe was clean.
The shop stocks a variety of gift items and you can buy plants. You can also hire a wheelchair for free, or a tramper for £3, this seats one person. The cost is for 1 day visit, however yiu can book it longer. The countryside mobility scheme offer an annual rate for the tramper for £15 and you can use it across multiple sites. If you do join the scheme it is imperitive to call Trengwainton prior to arrival to book the tramper, either for the morning or afternoon visit. This is because they only have one.
