A fun and well-rounded theme park, great for families, with some areas to improve.
双威珊瑚礁主题乐园的点评
点评：We had a really good time at Sunway Lagoon. There are lots of fun things to do for both adults and kids. We especially enjoyed the bird shows, the Vuvuzela Vortex slide, and seeing the white tigers and lions.
We bought our tickets via Headout, 5% cheaper for the first day and 15% cheaper for the second day, which was worth it. It wasn’t too crowded when we visited on Sunday, and on Monday, queues were very short or sometimes non-existent. It’s possible to explore all 6 zones in 1 weekday if you plan ahead, no express pass is needed.
A few things to note: many rides require kids to be at least 1.1m tall, so that’s something to consider if you have younger children. Outside food isn’t allowed, but there are plenty of food options inside. However there are no water refill or sunscreen stations, so come prepared.
Getting in via the Main Entrance involves a long walk through the car park unless you drive, using the Surf Beach side entrance is much more convenient. Night Park access is included in the ticket, but we didn’t realise you had to stay inside the park until night. We went out for dinner and came back, and the friendly staff kindly helped us get new wristbands to reenter, which we really appreciated.
One thing we found a bit strange is that Captain Quack’s Land (the kids area) only opens from 2pm, and the kids shows there start quite late, from around 6:30pm to 9:30pm, which feels a bit late for younger kids to fully enjoy.
