This is my second time taking Haval. This trip was around Federal Iraq. Haval has to be the best guide I have ever had. I’ve traveled to over 90 countries and he stands out for the following reasons:
1) he is super professional always thinking about the client’s needs and trying to plan a few steps ahead to take into account the unpredictability of Iraq.
2) he is extremely knowledgeable about Iraq’s ancient and current history and politics. He is happy to share his views which I found incredibly balanced and nuanced.
3) Haval is a problem solver. He was able to get access to some challenging places
4) He is a super kind, good and honest person
5) Haval is well traveled outside of Iraq and allows him to connect easily with many different cultures
6 Incredible sense of humor and had my friends and I laughing during much of the trip
7 He knows great restaurants and the most amazing food to order
