Really good in a 'Steptoe and Son' Way (Think 1970s British TV)

点评：I like Russian planes and there are a lot here and wonderful variety - my first ever Mi-26, Yak-28 and Il-28 but...
The place is a bit of a tip and all the aircraft are what could best be described as 'a bit tatty'. Opening is I expect pseudo-random. I think the 'owner' lives on site and if he sees you 'as he did me' comes to the gate and demands 10 Euros from you to go in. There are no 'amenities' on site and I don't think Health and Safety applies here.
However the aircraft present are rare and quite quite amazing. There is something from every major Russian manufacturer and at least 12 Migs of various types so for me this was well worth the visit.
A No.43 bus from the city centre of Riga takes you to 'Skulte' which is the end of the line and then you cannot miss it and BTW you are right by the Aircraft viewing area for Riga airport- not the busiest but some very nice movements.
