点评:Whilst in Grenada we jumped in a taxi to St Georges Market / Port to take a look.....As soon as we got out of the car were were jumped upon by Randy Alexander, an acclaimed tour guide..he warned us of unlicensed guides and proceeded to take us to the spice market saying if approached just politely decline and people in Grenada will leave you alone......He then started his patter and we allowed him to have his 5 minutes of fame, but something didn't feel right....after being introduced to a stall holder and being shown what to buy, I politely said thank-you and nice to meet you Randy, we need to be going now to take a look around, which Randy was upset by and shocked we wanted to find our own way....Randy, you just told us to tell locals to not pester us....
Overall not allot in the capital. We did have a lovely lunch in Sails down on the port and The House of Chocolate is worth a pop in for a coffee and to buy some treats, otherwise not much else to see and its all a bit run down in truth.
People are friendly and it can be over bearing if you are not used to it, but just be polite and everyone is happy.
