Great caves, a shame about the poor caged birds

点评：Booked a visit to the caves today arriving just after 9am.
Swiftly checked in and told where to go.
We were with a small group and were taken in to watch a film of how Barbados was created which was interesting.
We were then issued with a hair net and hard hat and led to the entrance where the tram/cart was located.
We drove down and went through arou after area which were well lit showing the different stalagmites and stalactites.
The guide was good pointing out different formations and explaining different things. There were a couple of areas where you could get off to see more closely and to take photographs.
The tour lasted around 30-40 minutes and was great.
Afterwards we walked on the nature trail which seems to have had quite a lot of it closed off. Was still nice to see and then went to the bird area.
It was this that I found sad, seeing many birds in cages especially a pheasant, which was in the smallest cage there. Unnecessary to have any of these and felt it really let the place down calling it an eco park.
For the cave tour though, I would give it 5*

之后，我们沿着自然步道散步，步道似乎有很多路段都封闭了。不过，景色依然很美，然后我们去了鸟类保护区。
最让我感到难过的是，我看到很多鸟被关在笼子里，尤其是一只野鸡，它被关在最小的笼子里。这些鸟完全没必要，我觉得这很辜负了“生态公园”的美誉。
不过，洞穴之旅我给五星好评。
