点评：Parked at the "Malmot Boardwalk" for access as parking was super easy, and shade was available. Turns out that the main reasons for light parking is because getting out of the water is not easy here. It's OK for strong swimmers, but others beware.
So, the "boardwalk" area is a limestone shelf over the water and a very irregular surface to talk on with lots of sharp rock with every step so beach shoes essential. I followed a young guy who jumped in off the ~5-8ft vertical height shelf. Indeed, it is deep enough to not have to worry about jumping in.
Know that going north or south, you can get in/out at small areas. To the south, where I went, the first spot is probably a good 400ft swim, and if there are waves, it is a bit of a narrow washing machine exit, requiring caution.
Saw turtles feeding on the underwater grasses. Better overall fish at Boca Catalina, but turtles better here.
