Bermuda Railway Trail的点评
点评：We biked from the end at Sommerset Village to Grotto Bay area. It took us 4 hours to go 20 miles. Why?
It was the wort bike path I've ever been on. I knew that the path did go from path to the main roads, but the signs marking the trail were almost nonexistent. We kept having to stop and pull our phones to figure out where we were going. There were parts of the trail we had to carry our bikes up/down stairs and steep hills. Then there were probably 20 or more gates we had to pick our bike over (they are there to prevent motorized bikes from going on the paths). I knew the area between the south and north trail would have to be traveled on mail roads, but there could have been signs directing the best route.
It was extremely frustrating, even for an avid biker like myself.
The path on the western side had limited views, and was mostly through neighborhoods and vegetation. The eastern side did have better views, but we were so frustated and exausted by the time we got to Grotto Bay, we were done.
I don't understand how some parts of the trail on the eastern side had newly-built bridges, but then the trail was just completely not maintained or unmarked in other areas.
I would save yourself wasting a day doing this.
