Great snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay

点评：Had no problem parking at the lot next to the Annaberg trail at 10:30. Leinster Bay trail was across the street. Trail is not difficult but mostly gravel. We did it with trail sandals and had no problems. We carried beach chairs and two backpacks plus our snorkel gear. Found a small sandy part of the beach where we sat our chairs. We then continued around the bay to where the distance to the Cay is the shortest. Entry was very rocky but becomes sandy not far from shore. We followed the advice to snorkel in a counter-clockwise direction. Saw an amazing variety of fish and coral along with a sting ray. No starfish this day.
We went halfway around and turned back rather than continuing the around. There was a strong current the way back. I had decided to use a pool noodle to snorkel and was glad I did as I could take breaks on the snorkel back.
We walked back to our beach chairs where we ate lunch and saw turtles in the bay.
Even if you don't go out to the cay, the snorkeling in the bay is nice.
