Excellent Whiskey from Einar's Distillery!

点评：We stopped here hopping to taste the whiskey (Einar's Distillery is also located here/same family) and after asking one of the ladies at the front desk the owner had actually given me a free tasting tour of their whiskey - absolutely excellent, and I am not saying just for Faroe Islands - I thought that out of the 4 whiskeys I have tasted 3 I could be drinking on a regular basis - they are definitely on a very high end of my price range so I didn't take a bottle with me, but I did buy a small gift set of which 1 of them is the 5 year whiskey - so there is definitely something for everyone's budget.
We tried also the Faer Isles Distillery during this trip, but with all due respect Faer Isles is still in a baby stages here, whereas Einar's is already whipping out an excellent products - if you appreciate whiskey and good stuff, this is the place for you to visit and be!
On the beer end, I really enjoyed their Klassik - I thought it was the most interesting beer of our trip to Faroe Islands - we didn't try it here, although you can, and also I have tasted their collaboration with Molafossur Waterfall (where we stayed during our 2nd part of the trip) village and it was a nice beer too - they are located in the building behind the Klaksvik Visitor Center - you can't miss it, free parking lot outside
