Skyride to Paradise Point的点评
点评：Rode the Skyride up to Paradise Point during a stop in St. Thomas and the views did not disappoint. The ride itself is smooth and quick, and once you’re at the top you get a sweeping panorama of Charlotte Amalie and the harbor with cruise ships docked below. On a clear day you can supposedly see all the way to Puerto Rico, though we mostly just enjoyed the closer view of the town and water.
The downside is the price. Round-trip tickets ran close to $30 per person, which felt steep for what amounts to a short ride up and a viewing platform. Once at the top there are a few shops and a restaurant/bar, but everything up there is priced for tourists, so plan on spending more if you want food or drinks.
Would still recommend it once for the photo ops and the view, just don’t expect it to be a bargain. If budget is a concern, some locals point you toward Drake’s Seat or Mountain Top for similar views at no cost.
