Absolute trip of a lifetime - do this!!!

点评：Incredible trip of a lifetime. We brought 11 family members ranging from 9 to 82 years old. Steve, Jess, and the entire crew of experienced, kind, and attentive guides made this a perfect experience for our family. They struck a perfect balance of ensuring our safety and comfort while also allowing for independent activities and fun. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest had an incredible time, even those without outdoor trip experience or a passion for nature. The emphasis on not relying on technology (phones, ipads etc) was somewhat daunting at first with the kids, but turned out to be an absolute blessing as we had the best family time and everyone stayed totally present and engaged on what we were doing - and there was always something great to do.
Some of us have a lot of experience with multiple rafting and outdoors trips and Steve Zettel is the absolute best we've ever been with. Just a unique guy who is able to run a tight ship while taking every opportunity to create fun and special memories for everyone - whether it's playing games with the guests young and old, to finding opportunities for side hikes or fishing ventures, to playing guitar and singing his own songs - just a one of a kind incredible guy. All the guides were wonderful and the Zettel family clearly sets incredibly high standards for who they bring into their family's crew. Could not recommend highly enough.
One note for those bringing kids who dont eat everything - snag some hot dogs or burgers or whatnot in Stanley to bring on the trip. The food is excellent but its a fairly set menu and so dont expect separate meals to be prepared for the kids unless you bring something for them to throw on the grill.
