猛犸洞国家公园的点评
点评：We did 3 tours at mammoth cave. First we did Domes and Dripstone. Lots of steps down into the cave (about 300) but you gradually gain elevation throughout the tour, so you don’t have to hike 300 steps going out. It was a nice hike. We had nearly 120 guests on the tour with us, which seemed like a LOT. It was crowded, but they try to keep everyone moving as best as they can. The prettiest spot is near the end at Frozen Niagara, so maybe just do that section separately.
The self guided discovery tour. It’s meh. A long walk down to the entrance, a steep staircase down, and then a big room at the bottom.
Lastly, the violet city lantern tour. THIS WAS WAY TOO LONG! We spent 3 hours in a hole in the ground. We didn’t see anything special until the very end. There was a pretty waterfall near the exit and some cave formations - that was it! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, but kept getting off topic and talking in circles. It was very hard to understand what point or lesson he was even talking about most of the time. Super knowledgeable, but terrible public speaker.

最后是紫罗兰城灯笼之旅。这场游览实在太漫长了！我们在那个地下空间里待了3个小时。直到最后才看到一些值得一看的东西。出口附近有个漂亮的瀑布，还有一些钟乳石——就这些了！我们的导游知识很丰富，但总是跑题，说话也绕来绕去。大多数时候，都很难搞懂他到底在讲什么要点或要传达什么道理。他知识面极其渊博，但演讲能力实在糟糕。
