Budget $100 and it’s awesome!
King Richard's Faire的点评
点评：If you don’t have $150 to buy a ticket and bring ample spending money to the faire, then save up for next year! I almost didn't go because so many 1* reviews informed me that everything costs money. I thought about it and decided to try it anyways, bringing $100 as my budget. And I had an amazing experience!
- Tremendous performers. Some of the best in the world come to King Richard's Faire, not because KRF is paying them, but because they enjoy the large, enthusiastic, and generous audiences (tips + merch sales).
- Water refilling stations. You can bring an empty bottle. Others note that they were empty, but for me there was plenty.
- $7 non-alcoholic Blue Moon. You need an ID to get it for whatever reason. Thank you for giving us non-drinkers a great alternative!
- Amazing shopping opportunities with enthusiastic staff.
- Great waterfront view with lots of shade and a good mix of trees and clearings.
- Ample parking.
- Friendly security. If you bring food you can just eat it at the entrance while looking at everyone's cool costumes as they enter.
Recommendations for the organizers for next year:
- Relocating the jousting to be at the bottom of a hill so more people can see.
- Opportunity for amateur musicians to sign up to do a one-time unscheduled performance.
- Better restrooms, if possible.
