点评:This was my favorite trail for our spring visit to the park. It had lots of vegetation and flowers compared to the rest of the trails we visited. The trail mileage on the signs is way off. We started at the campground, near site 51. The sign there says 3.6 miles round trip. My GPS listed 4.93 miles round trip. Since we're from the flat lands, it took us 4 hours at a leisurely pace (our group was 63-64 year olds, in fairly good shape). One section of the trail, we named the "bee tunnel", since the bees were busy pollinating the many trees on both sides of the trail. They didn't seem to notice us, so we passed right on through.
The end of the trail, at the window was magnificent. Take care if it's wet, the surface is slippery even without water. My brother and I slid down to nearly the edge to get the best photos. It took a little effort to get back up.
A great trail and a "must do" while in the park.
