Dolphins were the highlight of an all-round great trip

点评：What a great trip out around the islands, and what a super welcoming & friendly team (including the chap in the office dogsitting for us!)
We were fully kitted out with waterproofs and life jackets and, after a short briefing, we marched down to the boat.
No sooner had we reached open water, when we were buzzed by a playful pod of bottlenose dolphins as we headed towards Lunga. They toyed with the boat, leaping like synchronised swimmers alongside us for nearly 10 minutes.
During the trip we also saw porpoise, common & grey seals, razorbills, oystercatcher, white-tailed eagle, cormorant & shag, Canada geese, feral goats, roe & fallow dear (doe & stag), lions mane jellyfish, and probably others I've forgotten.
The trip was brilliant from start to finish, and the mix of wildlife and geology made it a very special 2½ hours, despite it being the only 2½ hours of rain in the whole week!
Thank you to Rachel for being our knowledgeable guide, and skipper Roy for piloting us safely around the islands.
Great value trip - will do again next year (and hopefully coincide with a spring tide for the Corryvreckan whirlpool).
PS top tips:
It's cold out there, so wear one more layer than you think.
In poorer weather, a cap will keep some of the rain off your glasses; perhaps take a cloth to clean them.
Everyone had phone cameras, which were quite safe in the boat.

这次旅行从头到尾都精彩绝伦，野生动物和地质景观的完美结合，让这短短两个半小时的旅程格外难忘——尽管这可是整周唯一下雨的两个半小时！
