点评:You need to pay an entrance fee to enter the park. You then drive down to the Visitor Center area. The Visitor Center contains a little, cute museum and near the Visitor Center is a gift shop that we didn’t have time to check out. We took the Pueblo Loop Trail and there is a lot to see on the hike and the cliffs with all the cave dwellings are very interesting. There are several small caves that visitors can enter, but you need to climb up and down a ladder to access them. If you continue on the Alcove Trail, rather than looping back to the Visitor’s Center, you will reach the Alcove. The Alcove is basically a huge half bowl-shaped opening. To get to it, you need to climb a series of ladders with a total of 86 rungs. It is quite high and you need to climb up and down at a decent pace as even when we were there, on a very cold evening, there was a line waiting to get up or down. But you can always just walk to the start of the ladders and take a picture from the bottom. The scenery is magnificent regardless.
