点评:Hmmm… A apparently very informed older Hispanic tour guide talked to us for 45 minutes. Several facts don’t check out. Je said basically everything in the chapel was exactly as it was 300 years ago…hammering away on the idea of it having maintained pristine condition for 300 years. He said the chapel had never been repainted. A quick google search shows it was painted in 2010. He said there were no cracks in the walls after 300 years. Supposedly the dome was repaired in 2010. He said he had DNA testing done when he was 10 years old (that would be around 1958–way before DNA testing was invented) which proved he was one of the last of the original Indian tribes that were there when the Spanish arrived, and that he spoke the original language, and that this gave him the special privilege at 17 yrs old of going through the 637 original books written by the Franciscans, which took ten years to complete, etc…etc….etc
