Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour的点评
点评：I visited the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour while in town for an event at Steamtown. I thought maybe going down into the mine might be nerve wracking or creepy, it was not. It was a lot of fun. Tours are ongoing throughout the day, so depending on when you get there you may have a short wait for the next tour, but it's no big deal. There are nice clean restrooms, a nice little gift shop and an informational movie to watch while you wait. At $12 for an adult ticket it is a great value. The tour itself was about an hour long once you go into the mine. It is walking on sometimes uneven surfaces but relatively easy. Our tour guide John was informative and entertaining. I definitely recommend taking this tour if you are in the Scranton area. Wear sneakers if you can and bring a sweatshirt or a jacket (and maybe some tissues in your pocket) as it is cool and damp in the mine.
