点评:We had high expectations of our visit to this lavendar field - rolling purple fields of lavender like the ones we saw in Valensole Provence but a small version. Not! The lavender mounds are in 3 separate patches, not fields as shown in their old (?) website. Some were blooming with only a frw strands of purplish flowers on what looks like to us unkempt bushes. The ground were littered with spattering of hydrangeas bushes strewn here and there, and other nice bushes that if a little more thought and planning would have made a more stunning landscape against the backdrop of down country of Kahului. Disappointed. We did take the tour of the grounds and were more impressed with the huge jars that were on the property than the lavender patches and gardens. The $5 fee was a donation because there was really nothing to see here during our visit. We also missed our Maui hold pineapple tour because we were looking for the spectacular secret garden that the website boasted about. There were none!
If you go to the gift shop, note that the products sold there are not made from distilled oils from the lavender grown in this garden. They are sourced from elsewhere.
If you skipped this stop on your visit to Maui, you did not miss much of Maui's lavender patch.

如果您去礼品店,请注意,那里出售的产品并非用自家种植的薰衣草蒸馏精油制成,而是从其他地方采购的。
如果您在游览茂宜岛时错过了这里,也并不会错过茂宜岛薰衣草园的大部分美景。
